Here at Queen's Gate Saddlery, I make photo show quality model horse tack. If you have come looking for real horses, I am afraid I cannot help you. You might, however, want to check out my blog (look in the sidebar for a link).
I currently make and sell halters for traditional-sized Breyers, Peter Stones, and artist resins. My tack is made with high-quality materials and is very fairly priced. All items are a very good value and are affordable for the beginning tack maker.
The other side of Queen's Gate is Queen's Gate Equestrian, a showing stable for model horses. Again, there are no real horses involved. Queen's Gate Equestrian not only keeps stallions at stud and broodmares, but also holds monthly shows. The new website is not yet fully set up, but when it is it will be accessible from this website.
I love horses, both model and real. I own one horse, Jones (registered as Street Flair) with whom I compete at local shows. This past show season we won Year-End Champion in the Open Hunter division, and I hope to be able to ride in the local Summer Circuit shows later this year.
I have not been in the model horse hobby very long, but I am feeling my way around. In the mean time, I make money off of this tack so I can add to my show string (which is currently pitiful).
Feel free to drop me a line any time.
The site is going through a total overhaul. Please bear with us. Prices are not current and neither are images (unless noted).
